HAVING
PROBLEMS TRYING TO LOGIN TO THE WEBSITE?
To logon to the
Private Zone of the
Intelsat Retirees & Alumni Association (IRAA) website
( www.myiraa.com
)
YOUR PC MUST ACCEPT
COOKIES.
The Intelsat
Retirees & Alumni Association - IRAA - website (Private Zone) requires that you configure your PC to accept cookies.
Since most people keep their browsers’ security level at High or Medium,
it means changing the setting to Low each time you want to access the restricted
website, then returning the setting to its original level when you log off.
However, it is a better security alternative
to set MS Internet Explorer to explicitly allow cookies for the
Intelsat
Retirees & Alumni (IRAA)
Association website
rather than
to allow them for all Internet pages.
For
example, in Internet Explorer 6, follow
these steps using the browser's Command Menu:
(1) Click on "Tools", then "Internet Options"
(2) Click on the Privacy tab
(3) Click on Edit in the section to override cookie handling
(4) In the dialog box for "Address of Web Site"
enter the address: "162.253.127.189"
(don't include the quotes)
(5) Click on the "Allow" button
(6) The address
162.253.127.189
will be added in the window at the
bottom for Managed Web Sites.
(7) Click OK, and OK again to return back to the browser.
At
this point your particular PC should be always able access the PRIVATE
ZONE of our new website,
using your login User ID and password.
You
only need to
do
this
once.
