On 11 May 2013, the Board of Directors
implemented two additional ways to pay your membership Dues besides
Annual Dues payment of
$20:
A Five-Year Dues payment of
$90
and a Lifetime
Membership based upon your
current age.
If you pay Annual Dues to the Intelsat Retirees
and Alumni Association by check,
for the year 2020-2021,
the Dues Amount is
$20.00 US.
If you pay Five-Year Dues
to the Intelsat Retirees and Alumni Association by check,
for the 5-years 2020-2025,
the Dues Amount is
$90.00 US.
If you elect to take out a Lifetime
Membership, please find your current age and remit amount required; i.e., if
you are 71, the payment amount would be $267 US. There are no
membership Dues required if you are 90 years of age or older.

The
membership year begins on June 1 and ends on May 31 of the following
year. For example, the 2020-2021 Membership Year begins on June 1, 2020
and ends on May 31, 2021. To avoid suspension of certain membership
rights, payment should be received not later than on July 31, 2020.

If you are making a Lifetime Membership
payment, please indicate your Date of
Birth on the lower left corner of your check in the 'For'
line.
If you do not wish to pay your dues by check, you
now have the option of paying online with credit card via PayPal. PayPal payment
is intended to facilitate payments for members residing outside of the U.S.
but may be used by all members.
If you are making a Lifetime Membership
payment, please indicate your Date of
Birth in the Instructions to Merchant section of the
PayPal payment form.

If you do not have a PayPal account, please click on the same
link to start the online payments process, including signing up with
PayPal which is quick and easy. All your payment (including credit card)
information is kept with PayPal. It is not shared with the Intelsat Retirees
and Alumni Association.
PayPal requires credit card information to be provided over a secure link.
You may now pay your dues using your VISA, Master Card, Discover or American
Express cards. You will also need to provide an email address in order for
you to receive a confirmation email from Pay Pal. If you wish to pay for
more than one year, please indicate so in the comments area once you are
logged on PayPal.

Section 4. MEMBERSHIP
(A) Membership. Members of the Association shall be persons over
18 years of age who are receiving pension benefits and/or retiree health
benefits from INTELSAT/Intelsat, or those who are former employees of
INTELSAT/Intelsat.
If a Member is deceased, his or her Surviving Spouse inherits the
Membership status of the deceased spouse.
(B) Application for Membership. Membership shall be effected by
filing a written application with the Association.
(C) Limitation of Membership Rights. The membership year begins
on June 1 and ends on May 31 of the following year. Members who have
not paid the annual fee by July 31 shall have their rights automatically
limited. The key membership rights that are limited include: (a) the
right to vote on any issue; (b) the right to nominate any member for a
position on the Board; (c) the right to be nominated for or to be
elected to any position; and (d) the right to make proposals to the IRA.
A member with Limited Rights retains the right to attend meetings of
the General Assembly, attend other IRA events, e.g., socials, picnics,
etc., and to receive communications from the Association. Full
Membership Rights will be reinstated upon payment of the annual dues.
